I love creating desserts for people to enjoy. I found it especially satisfying to make chocolate goodies for my mother, a self-proclaimed chocoholic.
In 2016, with the support of my friends and family, I started Truffles & More. I began slowly by doing a few pop-ups & farmers’ markets. My enthusiastic customers soon insisted that I supply my cakes and desserts at their weddings, parties, and other events.
It was going well. Then in March 2019, Covid happened.
As we all know, weddings, parties, farmers’ markets, and pop-ups stopped happening.
I responded by having Covid-safe pop-ups in front of my home, which my neighbors, in particular, were happy to enjoy. I also joined Bakers Against Racism and joined in with their monthly outdoor Sunday markets, which helped bakers to survive the Covid lockdown while also helping others.
Truffles & More made it through.
About a year ago, I was even able to start a shared storefront at the Old Ballard Blossom location on Market Street.
Now, with the success of that shared storefront and the support of my customers, Truffles & More is moving to a new location in the heart of Ballard!
Please visit our new location. The new shop opens on June 4th at 5510 22nd Ave NW. It is located between the Ballard Library and the Ballard Coffee Works.
I’d love for you to enjoy my delectable crave-worthy desserts, including Vegan and gluten-free goodies. I am committed to using the highest quality ingredients such as high-quality European chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, cage-free eggs, and beet sugar.
